For elderly patients, the recommended dose is:

• Elderly: 1 tablet orally in the morning.

After the acute phase, the maintenance dose is:

• Circulatory collapse
• Decreased level of consciousness due to any cause

• Patients with porphyrias (a kind of blood disorder where there is the accumulation of a specific protein that is a byproduct of red blood cell metabolism)
• Epilepsy
